Introducing Maycee Noelle | Charleston BIRTH Photographer

((I'll let the mommy and the pictures do the talking for me))
"After years of trying for another little one, on December 22nd 2010, we were blessed with our second child, Maycee Noelle Grooms. She came into this world weighing 8 pounds and 9 ounces and was 21 and 1/4 inches long. The emotional ups and downs coincided with the ups and downs of heart rates and blood pressures throughout the night.

After an emergency c-section, everything began to improve and Mommy and Daddy were able to meet Maycee face to face. Both Mommy and Daddy were amazed with how it felt like she had always been with us. We cannot imagine what our lives were like before her arrival. She is a great baby, who loves to be held. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Mommy, Daddy, Maxwell and Maycee. "

  4. What a beautiful story! I work with RD and I just wanted to say congratulations on your beautiful little miracle.

Heather, you really captured the moments here...Daddy watching by the nursery window... anxiously waiting on the edge of the bed, their hands... I really enjoyed this post, not just because of the beautiful baby :) but because you can hear the emotion in the mother's words and you captured great details, even the tiny bubbles of milk on the bottle in the last picture. When one looks at images like this, it is easy to go back to the day of your miracle.

Grooms family, I wish you many years of laughter and love.

    With warm regards,
    Jolena
