12 Days of Christmas

Let's face it. Christmas has become a very materialistic holiday. So many just think about what they are getting for Christmas, how much money they'll get or who can get the biggest gift. We tend to forget about why we even celebrate Christmas. Well, here's an easy reminder. . . It's called CHRISTmas. The first 6 letters in the word gives it away. We celebrate CHRIST's birth. The ULTIMATE gift. The most precious gift anyone could give.

Personally, even though we celebrate the birth of Jesus with a birthday cake every year and give to the needy, etc, throughout the year off and on and could care less about any gifts for myself, I've quickly realized that between me not getting much as a child and my husband being spoiled as a child, we are SUCKERS when it comes to CHRISTmas for our son and this year, our SONS. (This thrills me to be able to say "SONS" this Christmas! I got my present in September this year!!) This means that we can't help but want to work our butts off and give them everything they could want. It's not right. How many gifts we give our children do not tell them how much we love them. Honestly, there is nothing that our children can hold in their hands that can ever show them how much we love them. Really, I LOVE the fact that a few of my friends only give their children 3 gifts because that's what Jesus got. Jesus received Gold, Frankincense and myrrh. Their thought is if three gifts were enough for jesus that should be plenty for their own children. I admire them. I hope to one day be able to do this. Right now though, I'm just one big SUCKER.

So, although our children may be spoiled, as a family, we decided to count down the 12day's of CHRISTmas by doing 12 days of Random Acts of Kindness. Granted, these were all planned out so I guess they're not quite so random. This is a new CHRISTMAS tradition in our family now! I want my children to know the reason we celebrate CHRISTmas, why it's better to give than to receive, but the only way they'll "know" is by doing. So, here's what we did and few cell phone snap shots of us doing them. This really helped us get in the CHRISTmas spirit but also helped our son and family in countless ways!

12 Random Acts of Kindness

1.) We brought hot cocoa and muffins to Landon's teachers.

(they were very thankful for the random act of kindness and even posted on FB that they appreciated it)

2.) We gave Hot chocolate to the Salvation Army Bell ringers and donate money

(this guy told us that we "made his day" which made Landon's day!)

3.) We put quarters on these Cards and taped them to the toy machines inside of Kroger.

(we just hope that children actually got the money but even if some adult took it, I hope it was at least because they needed it. But sometimes we just have to give to give and hope for the best. )

4.) We donated a big bag of dog food to our local animal shelter.
(and we got to take a tour and see all the doggies, puppies and kitties which Landon really enjoyed)

5.) (This was Landon's idea) we bought 18 toys and stood outside of Kroger and CVS and handed them to every child we saw.

(this Act of kindness was one of the biggest for Landon. We heard stories of sick kids and kids parents who were in jail and didn't have any toys for christmas. This really touched Landon's heart and the joy on his face to give toys to these kids was priceless. You never know what people are going through and I really think this made a SMALL difference in our community. ALSO - during the hour and half that we spent handing out toys a man gave us $10 and told us he LOVED what we were doing and that we could buy more toys with it or just donate it but that he knew we'd do good with it. So Landon also got to see that when other see us being kind and giving, it beings out the kind in others as well.)

6.)While in line at KMART there was a little boy (about 6 years old) and his mother. The only thing they were buying was a pack of hot wheels cars and he was SUPER excited about them. We gave him a $5 gift card to help him pay for it.

7.) We gave our UPS man a christmas card telling him how much we appreciate him. (He's at our house sometimes 3-4 times a week for my business and he helped us work with our dog who used to HATE him)with a $15 Applebees gift card and KID pack of coupons for free items for McDonalds for his 2 year old little boy.

8.) Made a homemade meal and took it to a mommy who just had her second baby.
(There were several people from MOPS who did this for me and she was one of them. She had never even met me before and still signed up to bring me dinner so I had to return the favor!)

9.) Josh and Landon spent 1 hour helping people load groceries into their cars and take their shopping carts back for them at Kroger.

(This was a really good one for Landon. He realized that it's not just about giving presents it's about giving our time to help others. Josh said everyone was so nice and let him help put their groceries in their cars and take their carts back. People even gave him candy canes as a thank you. This was also big for my husband. He really enjoyed doing this with our oldest son.)

10.) We took a Christmas card to Landon and Josh's Barber with a $15 gift card in it.

11.) Landon went through his toys and picked out a whole bag full to donate.

12.) We went through some clothes and donated them.

In addition to these acts of kindness, Heather Smith Photography fans have been so generous in helping me get 30 COATS donated for the needy!! I'd like to reach 50, so please continue to donate if you can!

This was a wonderful experience and we'll continue to do this each year for Christmas. CHRISTmas should be today what it was about on the very first CHRISTmas.

Giving to others and showing God's love. That's how we bring others to know Christ all while teaching good values and giving back to our community. What could be better than that?!

I have been swamped with newborn sessions lately and as a matter of fact, I have two newborn sessions this week and as much as I love them, I also love photographing their expecting mommas; particularly this one :) This pregnant momma and I are only about 2.5 weeks apart in our due dates and we're both having boys!! I loved photographing her and her beautiful family!! We did a mix of Baby's girls 2nd birthday pictures, family shots and maternity!! Check it out!! Due to my maternity leave, I will be doing Winter mini sessions, a little early this year; which means you get a head start on all you have to do during that busy time of year AND that's one less thing you'll have to pay for during the month of December! 29 Weeks

I stay behind the camera for a reason. I do not like pictures of myself. I'm very awkward in front of the camera. It's summer so it's hot and humid. Take those three things and add on the fact that I feel quite large and uncomfortable at 29 weeks pregnant and well, it's kind of a recipe for disaster.

After losing a baby last November, I couldn't wait to become pregnant again. My husband and I felt the need to have another child in our family, so basically, because we know life is so unpredictable and we don't know what hand we'll be dealt, I need to love myself and enjoy this pregnancy, no matter how uncomfortable I am physically or in front of the camera. God promised that if we gave our hearts and lives to him that he would be there for us through it all. He never promised that our life on Earth would be easy. So I'm celebrating my life right now, in this moment. My very patient husband, son and I went yesterday evening to do some maternity pictures. It's very difficult trying to be your own photographer, but I really enjoy doing my own editing, to my own taste and I must admit, of the ones we got, I'm very pleased with them. Sure I would have liked to mix it up a bit and been more creative, but you can't get funky with different angles and ideas, without seeing it through the lens, at least that's how it is for me!! Although my husband is not a photographer by any means, I think he did a fantastic job doing my individual shots!! Thanks babe. <3

So, here are some images I wanted to share with you of my family. Landon is getting ready to start Pre School in only 2 weeks, so of course I had to get a few "back to school" shots with him :) And I just happened to get a great shot of my husband (which, like me, does not like being in front of the camera) too, so I had to post it as well!!

Another Miracle

I had the honor of photographing one of my very best friends' birth of her third baby boy. The evening this little guy came into the world, we had a terrible rainstorm causing me to have to drive 40MPH on the interstate and making it about 40 mins before he came into the world, but the timing couldn't have been better! God got me there safely and Momma gave birth 100% natural with NO drugs whatsoever. Baby boy came quickly and soon after, nursed like a champ.

I, well, I was just in complete awe of her strength and amazing super-mom abilities. I was shaking as the baby came closer to delivery and the eye piece of my Canon Mark II filled with tears. It was such an amazing experience for me, to be there, with my friend and capture her sons one and only BIRTH DAY! I'm so thankful that I have this job. It really is just amazing!!

Here are some of the images from the birth. Keep in mind that these are images from a BIRTH, therefore, are slightly graphic, however, they are tastefully done without any private body parts showing.

MAMARAZZI Academy Photography Workshop 7-09-2011

MAMARAZZI ACADEMY photography Workshops are sooo much fun!! 4+ hours of non stop learning and fun! We went over so much and then the best part - we got to go and practice what they learned!!! They got to practice on each other, get help and critique while shooting and we even got to photograph the neighbors beautiful alpacas! Because the weather was bright and beautiful everyone got to learn how to "find the light" which is challenging and fun!

I've already gotten a couple emails with images attached of what all they photographed after they got home, and they are seeing amazing improvements as a result of taking the workshop! I love seeing the results and hearing what all you've learned and how much my class has helped you to take better snapshots of your babies :) I really enjoyed meeting everyone and having you all in my home! Remember - Quantity then Quality, ladies!!!

I got to photograph this handsome 5 year old yesterday in Charleston! I even got to use my new suitcase props :) He was quite the talker! He told me all kinds of stories and said he was sending his aunt to "Angry Bird School" because she didn't know how to play angry birds and apparently there was a tuition to get into this school as well! hahaha! Annnd, he has the most gorgeous BLUE eyes!!

He was so much fun to photograph!!

This session was with a high school senior, who's starting a whole new journey into her life and her nephew, a sweet three week old, who just began his journey in life :) I Loved this session!! It was so hot a muggy that day, but we still had fun and got some great images!! Check out the SNEAK!!

What an AMAZING session I got to have the other day with the three most beautiful children! Full of energy, and just so much fun!! I've been looking forward to this session since their momma took my Mamarazzi Workshop last winter! Needless to say, it has been VERY difficult choosing the best images from this session because they're all breath takingly gorgeous! BIG FAMILY SNEAK PEEK!!

I got to photograph this big family yesterday! It was hot. It was sticky. But, we had fun! I had photographed part of this family a couple times before, but they recently moved so I got to visit their new home, which has an amazing view of pretty much all of charleston! I just LOVED it up there! Here's your sneak peek!! I took almost 700 pictures yesterday! WOW! It's going to be so hard to narrow it down! It was difficult enough to choose some for the sneak (which is nomally 1-3 pics) and I still ended up with 9!! I hope you enjoy your sneak!! It was so nice to meet all of your family! I had the BEST newborn session with this sweet boy today :) He's only 7 days new and slept through almost the whole session and only pee'd on his blankey that mommy handmade for him! It's not a newborn session unless something gets pee' d on, lol!! I really enjoyed meeting *Mr. J's* family today! Thank you for a fun evening! Enjoy your sneak peek!!

PS, to those wondering; yes, I did use my new 24-70mm! (AKA my $1400 baby) LOOOOVE the results! I don't think I'm ever going to take it off my camera!!

So yesterday, although kind of crazy, was a beautiful fun day! Miss. *M* and her momma drove 2.5 hours to have her senior session with me which was to include both studio and on location. Needless to say, when I got back from church yesterday afternoon, I had NO POWER! No power = no working studio lights! So, we decided to go ahead and do the on location part of the session and wait to see if the power came back on later! After 2 hours of shooting on location, the power was still out, so Miss *M* will be coming back next week to finish the studio part of her session, however, the on location shoot went awsome! Miss *M* is such a sweet, beautiful, down to earth girl and I really enjoyed my afternoon spent with her and her momma! Thanks for coming and being so relaxed about the situation! I had a wonderful session with a new client today and her beautiful baby girl! I had such a great afternoon with this family! Baby girl was all smiles and her session was finished in just under an hour and a half which is amazing considering how much we played, then ate cake and had a fun bubble bath too!! It's no secret that I have MAJOR Baby Fever, so I'm just LOVING getting to have all these sessions with these precious little babies!! This sweet girl was only a newborn the first time I photographed her and now she's 6 months old! She was so sweet and only cried when the Dog knocked her over! We got some great shot of her in her wearing PEARLS, playing in her crib, eating baby food (which is her newest milestone, along with mastering sitting up) and even sucking on her toes :) So here's her sneak peek everybody!! My Angel Baby

Tonight, I have a heavy heart; Thinking of my Angel Baby that my family lost on November 9, 2010. It hurts so bad, the pain in my heart, but I know that my child is in Heaven. He is in the real SON-LIGHT. I miss being pregnant. I miss feeling the flutters. I miss what could have been. I know some think that when you have a miscarriage, you just lose a "clump of cells". But I am here to tell you that what I lost was child. Not a clump of cells. My baby had ten fingers and ten toes, a heart and had everything it needed, only to stay in the womb longer to grow. I am one that believes a baby is a baby at conception.

Miscarriage is still a "taboo" subject, even though it happens to 1 in 4. How does it happen to 25% of clinically recognized pregnancies, yet everyone's so afraid to talk about it? I know it's difficult and people don't know how to respond and others have this idea that it was somehow the mothers fault, when in MOST cases, the mother is healthy and has done everything right. I did everything right. I took my vitamins, I watched what I ate, I don't do drugs, or drink or smoke. I did everything, humanly possible, right. But it still happened. My baby's heart still stopped beating. So many do not talk about it. But I have to stand and say that I am not ashamed and I will tell my story. I want others to know that it's ok to talk about and you DO NOT have to hide it and actually it feels good to talk about it with others. It helps release a burden off of you.

As time goes by it gets a little easier but I still have my moments, like tonight, that I hurt and mourn my loss. But I know that I am still grieving. Tonight, I was able to frame the 10wk ultrasound picture of our "Baby Pickle" (this is what our 3 year old called our baby while it was in my tummy) and place it on a table that's right beside our front door; right beside my sons newborn picture, and mine and my husband's wedding picture, because although it still hurts (It always will) I am the PROUD mother of two. I have one child with feet and one child with wings and it may bring tears to my eyes to say it, but my heart smiles with pride.

This song is so comforting to me. It is my prayer tonight.

She came into this world weighing 8 pounds and 9 ounces and was 21 and 1/4 inches long. The emotional ups and downs coincided with the ups and downs of heart rates and blood pressures throughout the night.

After an emergency c-section, everything began to improve and Mommy and Daddy were able to meet Maycee face to face. Both Mommy and Daddy were amazed with how it felt like she had always been with us. We cannot imagine what our lives were like before her arrival. She is a great baby, who loves to be held. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Mommy, Daddy, Maxwell and Maycee. "

So, maybe I'm of those people that say, "There's nothing to do around here." And by "here", I mean WV. I didn't always feel this way. . .but over the years, my *want to move to the beach, loving husband* has rubbed off on me a little bit. But tonight, my husband and I *BOTH* found something wonderfully magical and fun, that we didn't even know existed in a place that we go ALL the time! Coonskin Park is a HUGE go to for me for sessions and to take Landon to play. Every CHRISTmas they do a light show, but nothing we've ever found too exciting; just something to experience with our son. . .because we all know that things are so awesome and seem huge when you're under 4 feet tall! But tonight, changed that outlook! Thanks to a couple friends posting about it on facebook, we found out that during the CHRISTmas lights, they actually run a train, around to see some of the lights in the park. Maybe it was just the mood that we were all in, but this adorable little train, that's open to the 19 Degree air, with several inches of snow on the ground and the lights glimmering everywhere we looked, just filled our hearts with so much joy! Bundling up, in gloves, hats, scarves and coats, feeling the cold breeze on our cheeks, smelling the snow. . .it was perfect!

Landon just loved it and had an amazing time! After the train ride, we went inside to check it out, only to find Santa and Mrs. Clause greeting children, taking the time to talk to each one, as if they're the only child in the room. Eating cookies and drinking cocoa. . .it was all amazing!! Then I started to think about all the work that goes in to it. The electric to run the lights, all the cookies and beverages, the photo paper used to print the picture you get to take with santa, but all the volunteers is what REALLY surprised me! So many people there, working to help make CHRISTmas the magical time of year that it should be! I was SO impressed! The whole thing is donation only. . . so if you're reading this, maybe you're like me and never really thought about what all goes into it and how much it really costs, so please be a little generous in your donations. WV really doesn't have a lot, so we have to do everything that we can to keep what we do have thriving!! It really is an awesome experience for you and your children, and it was in our own backyard this whole time and I never even realized it!!!

PS. They have added SEVERAL new light sets this year!! But I also just want to put this out there, that I SERIOUSLY think that Coonskin should do a couple upgrades. . . .ONE - Extend the light show up the hill!! IT would be BETTER than OGLEBAY!!! and TWO - find a way to actually freeze the water in the pond solid so families can go ice skating outdoors during the Christmas Season! It would help boost our local economy, provide a few more jobs and more importantly provide AWESOME family fun close to home!! I can just imagine, christmas lights strung all the way around the lake, the christmas music playing in the background and skating out on the ice with my family! It'd be like Rockafeller Center, West Virginia Style :)

As most of you know, my family suffered a huge loss last month. 4 Weeks ago yesterday, to be exact. We lost our baby at our 15 week prenatal check up. We were so excited to add another baby to our family and had a great pregnancy. I had started feeling our baby moving around a couple weeks before that. It's an amazing feeling to know that something that was created in love is growing inside of you. Already having a 3 year old son, we took for granted, like most, that because we were pregnant, we were going to have a baby. Sadly it was not to be. During the first couple weeks, we did everything we could to keep busy and do things that bring us joy; one of them, being CHRISTmas. We got out the Decor and put up our tree! This is our first CHRISTmas in our new home, so we even got to buy a bigger tree this year! Doing this, helped us deal with our grief as it came, instead of only thinking about our loss and dwelling on the sadness of it all. Already having a child helped us as well, because we had to keep things as normal for him as possible. Our son had already nick named our baby, "Baby Pickle" so we even got a pickle CHRISTmas tree ornament as a special gift for us to always have our baby with us, through the holidays as well.

It's been difficult for me to get back to work. I've turned down several newborn and birth sessions, because I didn't think I could handle it. Now, one of my best friends will be having a baby in a few weeks, and I'm so happy to be able to photograph her birth. I've always been amazed at the entire conception/birth process and always found each child to be a miracle, however, knowing that I'm healthy, eat right, do not drink alcohol, smoke or do drugs, I take my vitamins, etc, etc, and I STILL lost my baby, makes me that much more amazed and realize TRUELY what a miracle it is to give birth, because there are so many things that can go wrong, even when you do EVERYTHING right. I'm looking forward to the day when we can try again and hopefully the next time, will be the right time. All things happen in God's time, not in ours. If it is his Will, it will happen. We just thank God for our son, Landon and for the time that I was able to spend with my unborn baby; thankful to feel it move, thankful to have that special bond.

Every year, our son is more and more thrilled with the magic of CHRISTmas. We try to draw a very clear line between the magic of Santa Clause and the Birth of Christ. And let him be able to experience both. The joy in his eyes brings joy to my heart. His stories of Santa Clause and Baby Jesus being born make me happy. He told my husband and I the other night that "since "Baby Pickle" is in Heaven, he is with baby jesus and they can play together"; and that made me think:: The feeling of losing my child is awful and I would not wish this on anyone, but it would be selfish to wish that baby back to me, when it gets to celebrate CHRISTmas with Jesus; the one who started it all. Our baby is in the most wonderful place and now my oldest child, has his own little angel watching over him and that makes me happy.

This process has been difficult and hard and if I'm lucky enough to live to be 90 and I look back, I will still hurt in my heart for the baby we lost, but will always be thankful for my husband, who married me when we were teenagers, who loves me always and created that child with me, for my son who's already here and brings a light to our lives that we've never seen before, for what is to come in our future, because we don't know what it holds, and for the journey of life that is full of ups and downs but it's not about what comes our way, it's how we handle it all.

I already have all the gifts that I need for my life. FAMILY, LOVE, HAPPINESS, PEACE, and HOPE. I hope that this CHRISTMAS, you too,are able to count your many blessings and be thankful for what you have. I have faith that this year will bring us many more joys and strength to get through any heartaches that may come our way.

I wanted to BLOG about this sooner, but just hadn't been able too yet, but I took a couple pictures of our tree today, and wanted to share with you! I wish you all the very Merriest of Christmases! God Bless you all!!!

I just love to photograph this family! This was their first session in their NEW home though, so it was super exciting! It was all decked out in Chrsitmas decor, so it made it even better!! We had a rough session since little miss was getting in a new tooth, but from the pictures we got, you'd never even know it!! So far, this is my FAVORITE shot, but I just don't know which I like best - color or black and white :)

I had a great urban maternity session with one of my BFF's this evening! I hadn't seen her in a while and it was nice to catch up, take pictures and drink lattes from the coffeeshop!! I had a cocoa mocha latte! YUMMM! By the time i finished it, i was ready for another! I had so much fun and the pictures are just amazing! She's a beautiful momma and has a beautiful family! Don't they look so sweet?! The daddy made me laugh so hard I *almost* lost control of my bladder and momma was laughing too so I got several great shots of them laughing together :)

It even started to snow while we were out!! I mean, it only lasted for like 2 mins but it SNOWED; for the first time this year! It was nice while it lasted! Momma is due in December and I will be photographing her birth! I'm so excited and honored that she's asked me to be a part in the birth of her child!! Our babies will be 4 months apart!!

So, There's so much going on with Heather Smith Photography that I decided to try my best to fit it all on THIS blog :) Lucky you! LOL. So the busy Christmas season will be over next month. I've been swamped with family sessions and designing Chrsitmas cards! The new LUXE cards are a favorite and everyone wants them! I'm so glad, because I love them and am so excited to bring that new line to my card collection for you!

I just realeased the Mamarazzi Academy Winter Photography Workshop date! It's going to be held on January 8, 2011 from 2-5pm. I will booking spots on October 23. Cost is $115 as long as you book before November 30. If there are any spots left after November 30, the cost is $135. No spots will be held until your payment is received. Here's a little secret, if you are interested in attending the mamarazzi winter academy and pre book a session for December, January or February, I'm going to give you a 10% discount on the cost of the class :)

Please remember that if you know anyone who is having a winter baby (Nov - February) they can get the Birth Experience session for half price! Only $250!! This Photography workshop is not for photographers or those that are close (within 1 year) to starting a photography business. I started my photography business because I loved photography and wanted to take the best pictures I could of my son and I wanted to stay at home with him! That's right guys!! It's that time again! I had 3 emails in my inbox just today asking specifically about the Halloween mini sessions! My 3rd annual mini sessions will be held

on Saturday, October 2! Below are the times available! Payment is due upon scheduling via paypal. Please be sure that if you are not able to make your mini session, that you have a friend or family member that can take your place. Due to the, "First come, first serve" nature of these sessions, no refund will be given! And there is no make up day for these sessions! Every year I have taken 10 sessions, but this year I have decided to up it due to the overwhelming positive responses from these sessions! So I am taking 13 sessions this year!! If you've never taken part in the mini halloween sessions; you're really missing out! Everyone has fun! They're only 20 minute sessions so your kiddos won't get tired out and I'll even have goodies for the kids!!

So, I'm finally just getting to be able to put up the Sneak from My Myrtle Beach sessions! This was the first time I've ever taken sessions on vacation, and I must say, it was awesome! Generally in BIRTH Photography, the photographer arrives just a bit before baby enters this world, but after being up pretty much all night texting this mommy back and forth, baby came very fast and I made it about 3 mins after she was born! He's ALMOST 6 months old and what a little sweetie he was! This session was done a 9am and the light was perfect, the baby was perfect and I think this was the QUICKEST session I've EVER had! Sister, Sister

I'm so excited to finally be able to post some pictures from this session! A few weeks ago one of my Best friends called and asked me if I could fit her into my *hectic* August Schedule, so um, of course I did! She really wanted to have a session with her little sister before she left for college this month and then have enlargements made to give to their parents as a special gift! Needless to say, I had to keep this on to downlow because her momma and I are Facebook friends :) Finally, the pictures came in and the girls have already given them to their parents so I can FINALLY post some pictures! This session is special to me for 3 reasons -

1. She's my BFF

2. This is the first "adult only" session that I've done, which in itself is a huge accomplishment. I mean, how do you (not generically) photograph two adult women?!

3.You may recognize the little sister, she was on the August 3rd episode of MTV's "If you really knew me"

But I also want to tell you guys a little about this session. Ok so to start, this was literally the ONLY day I could photograph them. About 2 hours before the session it starts to storm. Not like regular storming, like, HUGE wind gusts, crazy diagonal bands of rain, Thunder, lightning. . . really. bad. storms. If this had been any other session I would have said - We're rescheduling for next month, but this was the only day we had available and also the girls were trying to keep the whole thing a secret from their momma too! So we ended up sitting in the car as it STORMS (for about an hour and a half) and Katie was giving us the insider scoop on the MTV show (all while her phone was going crazy with FB friend requests!) and finally we decide to give it a few more mins then call it quits. Just as we're about to quit, it stops storming and the sky clears even letting the sun peek through the clouds. With perfect lighting - we got out of the car and had a great session! God knew just what we needed!

A Very Beautiful Family

This is the second time I have gotten to photograph this beautiful family! I'm sure everyone remembers this little baby in a basket atop his kitchen table, right?! Everyone loved that shot! Well, now this cutie is 6 months old and big bro is 3!!! No cheesy, fake smiles here! I caught them laughing and playing, being themselves, with drool and all :) Baby boy is growing fast and i just enjoyed every minute of holding and playing with him!!! Mamarazzi Academy Photography Workshop

We had our very first Mamarazzi Academy Photography Workshop on July 31 from 4-7pm! Because this was my very first time teaching a photography class I focused more on teaching and VERY little on taking pictures of the class, so bare with me as I only got a few! The class was a complete and total success and I CANNOT wait to have another one! This was VERY exciting! I had a great time with all you ladies! We got to eat some pretty yummy food, talk, share stories, pictures and most importantly, learn how to take better photographs!! It was unfortunately rainy the entire evening so we weren't able to do lighting demonstrations off the porch, but I still think all my students understand how important lighting is and will really be able to easily find great light no matter what, to take some great shots!! Each Student received a goodie bag and inside each one was, an AWESOME photography book, a gift certificate for a session with me for $75, A coupon good for free shipping from mpix.com, a set of paper samples from mpix and a brochure from MOD!!! As if the goodie bags weren't awesome enough - I also gave out 4 door prizes!! A book - Digital photography for dummies (although there was not ONE dummy in my class!) a kodak point and shoot camera bag, a designer camera strap from http://www.modismodern.com/, and a FREE 16x24 Mounted print from http://www.mpix.com/!!!

Big Family Sneak Peek Time :)

I had an amazing session today with a huge family!! Big families are not something that I'm used to photographing, but I'm so glad that I took this session! I got to meet and get to know these awesome people today and they made me feel right at home! Each family was color matched, which i thought was awesome and it helped me remember who was who :) The Orange family were the ones that booked the session at their home on over 200 acres of land, complete with a pet pig, (i believe her name was Rosie) chickens and more! Their home is a 105 year old farm house and I loved every second of being there! The Red family - well, I feel very blessed to have met them. As we got to talking I found out that they are missionaries in Uganda and have been for 6 years! The mommy even gave birth to their daughter there! Their story made me cry and it was a nice reminder that no matter how crazy things seem to be in this world that there are still people that are listening God and spreading his word! The Brown family do not live in WV either! They live like 800 miles away. They have 3 older children and a set of 7 month old TRIPLETS! The babies were so good and patient,even in the hot, blazing sun! Overall - I had an awesome afternoon with this big ol family!! Thank you for having me!! But I was totally distracted by this adorable little girl that I didn't even realize quite how hot and humid it really was today!! After several thunderstorms and downpours starting at about 5AM, I wasn't sure we'd be able to pull this session off, especially since this family lived an hour and a half away, {Which in itself totally impressed me that they'd come all that way just for ME to photograph their little girl!} but they came and boy, am I SOOO GLAD!!! There were so many ROCKIN pictures that it was so hard for me to pick which ones to use as sneaks buuuut here's what I managed to narrow it down too! Sweet Girls

I got to meet these adorable sweet little girls this evening! Baby girl was just two weeks old and her big cousin was so helpful! She helped get the props ready and did a fantastic job holding her for a few shots even! Miss. "O" was quite the little ham during our session. She was so sweet and fun and VERY easy to photograph! The new baby was without a doubt one of the best newborns I have ever photographed {and I've had MANY}! She slept through EVERYTHING!!! Never woke up once during our session and let me do anything I wanted with her bendy, curly, squishy, newborn little self! Thanks guys!! I had a great time with your families!!! JUST What I needed. . .

A Weekend away with friends!!! This past weekend we took an overnight trip with friends to The Great Wolf Lodge and Kings Island! So, obviously, I wanted to share pictures and my own "little" review for people thinking about going as well :)

- The Expense -

The first thing that I noticed, when booking the room, was that the pricing changes several times a day on their website and when you call in - the only thing they're going to give you is the best price on the website - nothing more. The rooms are very expensive - even when you deduct $30 per person as the waterpark ticket you're still greatly overpaying for your room. Now, everyone knows I'm a budget shopper. I love to get the best deals possible at home, so of course I'm going to do it on a getaway too! I searched and searched coupon codes. The thing is, is the GWL really puts a lot of time and effort into making sure that everyone that uses a code has the proof to back it up; for example they have a deal with pepsi right now that can save you, i think, 20%, so if you enter that code in it will save you the 20%, however, when you check in, you must bring the empty pepsi can with you that has the coupon on the can. If you don't have it, you'll be billed full price. It's like this with every coupon code. THANKFULLY I found one that was with a disney mailer and was able to save 10% and even after that, it was still $314 for the night! and $44 of that were taxes and fees - the rooms itself was $269 and some change! But something that GWL offers is a HUGE discount to anyone that works at a hospital, military, Fire, etc. Our friends saved like $125 on their room because the husband was in the military years ago. Of course he had to show proof when he got their, but I think it's great that GWL offers such a great disount to our heroes!!! They honestly deserve it. I was a BIT jealous, but they've BY FAR earned it!! Actually I think they should stay for FREE!

- The Room -

was nice. VERY clean (I'm a fanatic when it comes to hotel cleanliness). Landon had is own "Wolf Den" which was like a little cave that had bunk beds and his own TV! He thought that was the coolest thing ever! The TV also had nintendo but it was like $5 or $10 for 60 mins which I thought was too expensive since no one will spend much time in their room. It should have been free, in my opinion. . .Not that any of us would have played it, but that's the point! It should be free! LoL.

- The Waterpark -

was FUN!!! It was crowded but we expected that since it was a holiday weekend. The rides were awesome! I get motion sick very easily so I couldn't do a lot but we did the family waterslide, which consisted of upto 5 people in a raft. It went super fast (of course we had 2 men in it, me and 2 little boys) and it actually made my stomach turn because as it goes up the sides and back down, it's gives a slight roller coaster feeling. But totally worth the upset tummy afterwards, plus it was a ride that we could do together with our kiddos! That is the only ride that you can actually ride together with small children. Landon loved it, the only issue was at the very end, we were backwards and he got splashed in the face with a LOT of water, but he wiped his eyes and kept right on going! They have other, smaller, open slides that were fun that they said my son could go down alone, however, it was MUCH too big for him. And he thought he could ride on his daddies lap when he went down but we were told that wasn't allowed, so that was disappointing. But when you first walk in on the left is the kids only area, which has age appropriate slides for the little ones. these slides are too small for moms and dads so you have to let your kids go by themselves. Landon went down them without a problem and loved every second of it!! There are life vests available for your kids. We did not put one on Landon because he wasn't ever by himself. We were with him at all times and we really thought it'd just weigh him down. On another note - they do shut down the pools kind of early. The ones outside shut down at like 8pm. which was a huge downer considering the fact that at least 3 other areas inside were closed due to "accidents". So please parents - if your little one is not potty trained, put a little swimmers on your kid - OR - if you buy a pack of SPLASHERS, swin diapers, it'll save you $25 off your room. (they have a promotional thing with them) just remember to bring in your proof of purchase. But "accidents" shut down the pools several times that day, and it's just not fair to everyone else!! Be responsible.

- The Food -

They have an all you can eat buffet which you can purchase for your family. It is expensive and we chose not to do this. Simply because we knew we could drive accross the street and get dinner for cheaper, however one of the friends that went with us purchased the buffet for 4, which included their 12 month old baby and of course the baby's not gonna eat steak so they kindly shared their buffet ticket with us. Which is not technically allowed, but they did pay for 4, so it seemed to balance out. The food was good. Hubby got the steak which he thought was awesome. Landon and I had hot dogs that were yummy.

We did purchase the all you can eat breakfast buffet the next morning so we could have a good, hot breakfast before we left for Kings Island. Normally this is 18.99 per person and children 3 and under are free, however, I booked it online as part of our package and got Breakfast for 3 for under $25, not including tip. The breakfast was really yummy. They had eggs, potatoes (that totally rocked) oatmeal, fresh fruit, french toast, pancakes, different toppings, bacon, sausage and more. This was a really good deal and a good way to start the day. We got to have a hot, filling breakfast with our friends before heading off to KI.

- OVER ALL -

A great experience! Now that we have stayed once, I'm on their mailing list and will receive special offers for return guests. I'm thinking a future, discounted trip would be fun, that way we could stay 2 or 3 days instead of one!! And of course have our firneds there again! We had 3 familes total - ALL BFF's - The other family couldn't make it, which stunk, but hopefully all 4 families can make it next time!! Landon had an amazing time with his buddies and it was so great to be able to share the whole experience together witch everyone! Just a note - DO NOT buy Kings Island Tickets from GWL! you can include that in your package but they're cheaper (like $20 per ticket) if you just buy them from Kroger!

Now for some pics!! Please keep in mind- we were at a waterpark filled with children so I was focused on my Camera's well being, not creativity! :)

Baby Mallory

I had an awesome session today with baby Mallory :) Today was her 11 month birthday and we were out taking pictures to celebrate her turning one! Christmas in JULY?? HUH?! But the Chrsitmas clothes aren't out yet!! Well, yes, I know! However, the skies are blue, the weather is warm and I want you to think outside the red and green sweaters! Think outside the box!! I know my clients don't like to take their kiddos out in freezing weather and *hope* to get a Chrsitmas card worthy shot! You know the Old Saying, "What can go wrong, Will?" Well, in our case, today, IT WAS SOOO TRUE! The day started off, nasty, muggy and wet, so of course I was worried about today's session with one of my FAVORITE families! Then the sun broke through this afternoon and I began to feel hopeful! Well, it didn't last long because 15 mins before our session was to start, it looked like it was going to STORM, and daddy only had the first 15 mins of the session with us, because he had to leave for work, so thankfully the rain held off! We got to take a few family shots then we headed for studio pictures! Well, my poor studio equipment must have been mad at me for not using it since January because it took me 15 mins to get it working right. When it finally started working, we hear a huge thunderstorm hit with TONS of rain! Thankfully we were at least inside! So little guy LOVES his cake and has a great time digging into it and then it STOPPED raining! We start to head down the road toward Charleston to finish the rest of our session at the State Capitol when the light comes on in my car telling me I have a flat tire. . .So we pull over to check it out. the tire pressure in one tire was quite low, so we headed to my house for hubby's truck, which, surprise, surprise, was out of gas! After a stop at Speedway and 15 minute drive we arrive at the capitol! After taking a few pictures, we ran back to the car for little guy an outfit change, when along comes this guy riding a bike telling us that his car was broke down with his wife and children and that he needed help. 2 females and a baby, by ourselves, in a bad part of town, alone with a strange guy, SCARY!! Thank God, he left without a fuss and we were able to finish our session and to get a police officer to escort us back to our cars! Oh yea and did I mention I got like 15 bug bites! LoL!

So as you can tell, it has been one crazy day trying to get the session to work out. . .Well, of course, it ALL worked out! So well, infact that I think she may have lots more than 30 proofs to choose from! I LOVE this family and love every time I get to photograph them! I have photographed them since momma was pregnant and they are the main family in my new baby brochure!! :) Thank so much "M" for being patient and keeping a smile on your face, even though, everything was going wrong!!! To my Husband on Father's Day -

My husband had never changed a diaper or cared for a baby. He'd never been spitup on, been awakened in the middle of the night by a crying baby. He'd never been peed on or worse, pooped on. He had also never felt the connection to such a tiny being, or felt the instant, "I'd die for you in a heartbeat", kind of love by just looking into the eyes of his child. March 7, 2007 changed all of that. My husband, my best friend, my protector, my provider, my, "I don't want kids til I'm 30", husband became a father. The husband that I had married 4.5 years before that, at only 15 and 18. The one who rubbed my back for 7.5 hours of labor, the ones who dresed head to toe in scrubs, for my c-section, The one whose eyes became full of tears when he caught his first glimpse of his son. The one whose heart became instantly changed the moment he held his newborn son. On March 7, 2007, my husband became a DAD. I say dad, because anyone can be a father, but dad's are different. Landon's dad woke up in the middle of the night to console his crying, to feed or change him. When his son could not sleep, he layed him on his chest so he could rest, even if it kept daddy up all night. He's cuddled and played and nurtured his son. He's cared for him, helped teach him to crawl, to share, to use the potty. He's only three, but in these short three years, my husband has proved to be a phenominal daddy. These two are partner's in crime and two peas in a pod!

So to my husband, I want to say -

Happy 4th Father's Day!

You're not just a father. You're a DAD. I could have never imagined you to be such a loving, caring, hands on dad. You're so much better than I could have imagined. Seeing you with our son, makes my smile. This is all I've ever wanted my whole life and I know God placed us to be together. He meant for you to be Landon's daddy, because he knew you'd be the best. I love you dearly and cannot explain in words what being your wife and mother to your child means to me. We are so blessed!

The Itsy Bitsy Spider Climbed up the water spout. . .

Down came the rain and washed our SESSION OUT (twice)! Out came the sun but didn't dry up all the rain so the itsy bitsy girlies crawled through the mud again :) LOL, I'm SOOO not a singer or song writer, forgive me! But we rescheduled this session twice due to rain and thought for sure today would have dried it all up. Instead it was a stinky, muddy mess, but looking at the pictures I bet you can't tell, huh?! This session was WONDERFUL! Two adorable, sweet lil girls and a mommy that had it all together! The clothes, the accessories, props and more, she was so put together! I have lived a tough life, in my short 23 years on this earth. You may not know my story, but trust me, it's been hard. Something that I realize though, is that in one way or another, lots of people have tough lives! Whether it's the family that's desperately trying for a baby, a single mom, a military family, etc. But I also realize that I have been blessed. God has blessed me with a wonderful family and a gift for photography. It allows me to capture your family and your children just the way they are. Photography is the only way to freeze a moment and remember it forever. Children grow up and parents get old and we forget things. This is why I specialize in LIFESTYLE photography, so i can capture your LIFE. And let's face it. . .life isn't picture perfect! No, I'm not getting ready to do a cheer, lol, I'm talking about PICTURES!!

An 8×10 is a desk print…it may sound big, but it’s NOT. See all those papers laying on the computer desk? Yep, those are bigger than your 8x10 that's hanging on your wall! Suuure, the 8x10 is safe. You're scared of going too big but my question is. . .can you really go TOO big?

When it comes to prints, I am all about wall prints and wall print means going big. Custom photography is an investment and I really want my clients to enjoy the benefits of that investment on a daily basis and for years to come. It seems like we buy a bazilion 4x6 and 5x7 prints, but let's be honest, you buy tons of those and then what doesn't go in a frame on the table or in the scrap book, you're sitting there going, hmmm, who do i give this one too because you bought too many! When you come to me for a session you leave with more than great captures of your baby, your child, your family…you leave with art for your walls. Re-think the 5x7's and 8x10's and consider going BIG! It’s the way your photos were meant to be seen – bold color or rich black and white – it should be big! Standouts (my faves), OR Gallery wraps…I love them both. With each session there are going to be shots that are "BIG" worthy! Let me help you find the BIG portrait that was meant for your home! I just moved into our new home and over the next year, it is my goal to go BIG! But that means LOTS of picture taking! In the meantime, a very talented photographer, Amy Ro, has a blog post with fantastic photos where you can see exactly what I’m talking about. So you guys know how indecisive I am?! Well, I had a VERY hard time deciding which pics to post for this sneak peek! There are so many great shots! So, tonights (AHEM -> this morning's) post is gonna be more like 1/3 their session, LOL!! We rescheduled this session twice because the rain, but mother nature sure was so good to us today :) It wasn't even that hot AND these lil fellas were a HOOT to be around! All they did was laugh, play, tickle and tackle!! I LOVED every minute with them! I even gave the boys a little treat at the end which i really think they liked! The mom to these very adorable boys is a self professed Heather Smith Photography stalker and I LOVE it!! Next time we are soooo getting some shots with mom and dad! Mom was stunning but insisted she wasn't ready for family shots. . .next time mom, next time!

My own Cover Girl turns One!!!!

So, Heather Smith Photography's business card - Cover Girl is turning one!! We had an amazing session today! Sure it was hot and humid and we were all in a rush since we were all headed to the same little guys birthday party after the shoot but it went great none the less. Ok so here goes nothin. .

Mandy - I used some new funky actions on a few of them and personally I'm totally diggin them with the pink tutu! If you're not as wild about them as I am, just let me know and I'll do the basic retouching (color, contrast, etc.) But the last shot, to me, is stunning. Her eyes POP, the cake shows she's truely celebrating her FIRST birthday and I'm just in AWE of it! I would get this shot as big as possible. Actually if you want to purchase an enlargement, canvas, etc of it, I will give you a good discount on it, just because I think you should have this blown up and proudly displayed in your home!!! Oh and what a great shot of mom and dad right?! What a beautiful couple!! I love every session with you all :) Free 5x7 if you get 10 comments :)

1 Year Old!!

I had a wonderful session yesterday with one of my BFF's! Baby B turned ONE yesterday! It's so hard to believe!! I have photographed this baby since before he was born so of course I have to share some of the older shots as well :) Big brother was so good for pictures. Usually you have to do something very rotten to get smiles out of him but yesterday, I didn't even have to work for it! After the session, my little boy and big brother to "B" got to play at the park! They're such good buddies and it had been way too long since their last playground playdate so this was super fun for them both! So here's the "M" Family sneak peek and a few extras :)

I had a fantastic session today in Huntington! It's an hour drive from where I live, but I was so excited to photograph this sweet baby girl! She was such a trooper! We did more outfit/setting changes in 3 hours than i thought possible!! But she did great and barely fussed! My black backdrop, did get pooped on by the little cutie, but hey, the girl had to go! So, as everyone knows,my family has been in the process of moving for about a week or so. It's been kind of crazy and actually my desktop is currently sitting on top of my 3 year olds train table since we're still moving stuff in! Mommy had the coolest, most brightly colored furniture {ya'll know I'm a sucker for bright colors} and cutest clothes picked out for him!! He was ina great mood and the session went perfect!! Turning 2!!!!

I had a very active and fun session with this baby girl yesterday!! I say baby girl, but she's turning two though!! What a sweet girl! We held hands and ran, jumped and played for 2 hours in the 80 something degree heat :) boy was in fun though! She's one active baby girl and let me tell you, I'm feeling it today! We had a blast and got so many great shots!! Here's a sneak peek for mommy, grandma and nanny :) ENJOY!!!!

PS - We're moving soo the computer will be out of order the next few days!!! I will finish this session asap, but it will take a few extra days so we can have internet service as well!!

My Week in Paradise. . .

So, as everyone knew, I was DETERMINED to take last week off and enjoy a funfilled week 100% devoted to my husband and son without the interruptions of Cell phones, computers, facebook, etc, and I'm proud to say that I SUCCEEDED!!!!! My husband, son and I flew to Fort Lauderdale, Florida last week to enjoy a 5 night cruise to Grand Turk, Nassau and Half moon Cay in the Caribbean Islands :) And I must say that it was a very refreshing, invigorating, exciting experience and I didn't miss not having a cell phone or computer and nope, not even Facebook! Landon had a blast flying in the airplane, playing in the pools on the ship and swimming in the crystal clear, turquoise, waveless waters in the Caribbean! We sailed with Carnival Cruise lines on the Destiny and it was great. The staff on the ship were exceptional. They're trained to remember you by name and to remember exactly what you want but our waiters went above and beyond any expectation. Every night they danced and played with Landon, and always had something ready for him to play with when we got to dinner each night; sometimes in was something oragami and sometimes it was an awesome animal made out of napkins! They were so kind and curtious, I even cried our last night when telling them goodbye!

This was the perfect vacation for my hubby! If there was a "past life" he would have been a fish!! He loves the water and loves to swim and be in the sun so this was perfect for him!!! Unfortunately he didn't get to snorkel but that's a must for next time!! Enjoy checking out the photos below!! I wanted to share with you the reason why I ignored you for a whole week :)

TIPS FOR CRUISERS

*They don't charge you to take your picture on the ship, however prints are VERY expensive for the quality that you get but be prepared to buy them because you want to treasure these memories forever*

*Understand that not everyone on the ship are there to spend a quite vacation with their kids. . some are there to party and drink, so on the "fun days at sea" you'll see a lot of them* but there's always somewhere to go - where they are not.

*Unfortunately the only two "family" pools on the ship were also home to the "Bartender contest" and "Hairy Chest Competiton" and if you try to take your 3 year old to the "Adult only pool" (where it is nice and quiet and where there are no retarded contests or people making themselves out to be fools) you will *politely* be asked to leave * (This was the only thing that aggravated me about the cruise) I mean , why not have those competitions in the "ADULT ONLY AREA?!"

*If you go to Nassau - Go to the Atlantis or a more secluded beach. Its kind of crazy and somewhat dirty when you first get in to Nassau, but don't let it freak you out. Once you get to where you're going, you'll love it!* We loved Atlantis but it is expensive so make sure you have all day to spend there before forking over the cash! It's a HUGE resort!

*Half Moon Cay - If you're lucky enough to get an itinerary that takes you here - it is PARADISE! Quite, beautiful, unbelievable*

Hi Everyone!! I wanted to let all of my clients know that I am turning off my computer and phone from May 1-9 to spend some much needed time with my family! I have been taking so many sessions and my husband and I have been trying to finish building our house so with everything being so hectic, I want to take this time to devote only to my family, with no interruptions! Please understand that I will not return ANY calls or emails until May 10. This is hard for me to do because I'm very hands on with everything from being a mom to running my business but we need some time together. Please don't neglect me though! Email and call away and I'll get right back to work the following week!! The plan is to do nothing but spend time together the whole week! Hopefully I can resist the urge to work!! If you have anything that you need to discuss, please email or call me asap. You'll be able to reach me until tomorrow evening. . .after that, the cell goes off :)

Green with Envy. . .

So yep, I'm totally jealous of my husband! He and his cousin went to a Disciple and Decipher Down Concert yesterday! They drove like 4 hours to go, LoL! And although I looooove concerts, I try not to barge in on their guy time too much so I didn't go! Landon and I had a mommy/son date yesterday and went to CEC and Toys R us and did a little shopping! We very much needed this time together since I had been so busy working lately! Landon and I are in the middle of Toys R us when I get a text from my husband saying that they were going to have dinner with the bands!!!! I was just blown away and TOTALLY Green with Envy!! He got home at like 3AM with an autographed picture (in which I have been instructed to have framed) and a busted drum with all the guys signatures on it!! How cool is that?! Anyhow. . more than anything, as a photographer I was jealous that they had such awesome photo opportunities, but of course, my hubby doesn't know how to use a camera so he just used his iphone! I can't help but imagine the Wall sized, sharp, clear, contrast-y pictures I could have gotten!! :( He texted me tons of pictures and I picked the best ones and photoshopped! We have to print a few since it was such an awesome experience, however the iphone quality shots are not exactly print quality. I guess grainy, 4x6's will have to do!! Here's the shots!! Enjoy!!

Happy First Birthday "S"

After re-scheduling this first birthday session 2 times; we finally got a day with some beautiful weather!! Miss. "S" was in a great mood after having a long nap and was totally ready for her pictures!! I Love all the faces that one year olds make :) She had a dozen for every picture!! Big sister was so kind and helpful! We got to have a tea party in the middle of a grassy field and the girls ate cupcakes! Quite a fun afternoon!!! Thanks "S" Family! I loved taking the girls pictures and getting to chat with you all!! Oh and FYI - I don't think I'm supposed to post this many for a Sneak Peek but they're all so good, I just couldn't choose, LOL!!!

First Dental check up!!

Landon's pediatrician recommended we wait until Landon was 3 to take him to his first Dental check up since all seemed well with his teeth, so soon after his third birthday he finally got to do it!! We weren't really sure who to take him to at first but then I remembered that a little girl I had in my 2 year old class, when I was teaching at Saint Andrews; daddy was a dentist. My thought - he has kids Landon's age so he HAS to be good with kids, right?! Well, we've been preparing him for the last week telling him that the Dentisit was a "Tooth Doctor" And telling him what all they were going to do to his teeth!! He was very excited!! They had a fish tank with tropical fish! So his first impression of them was that they had NEMO!! BIG PLUS!! Then the ladies were very nice to him and offered a surprise if he was really good. There were also toys in the waiting area!! He gets in the chair and realizes they even have a TV on the ceiling with cartoons on, just for him! Well, that was it for Landon! He thought that was the coolest thing!! Needless to say, I think we found the right "tooth doctor" for Landon and he had a wonderful experience! So much in fact, that he didn't want to leave!! I'm one happy mommy today!!!

CD Price Change!!

Hi everyone!! I wanted to take a minute and explain to everyone why I changed the price of my CD's!! I've always offered CD's for $75 after you purchase a package, however as of today you will be able to choose if you want to purchase a regular CD (with copyright release) that includes just your proofs OR a CD that includes all your proofs and storyboards, collages, etc! Regular CD's are now $100 (after you purchase a package) because each CD will have a custom CD label and customized hard shell case!! As you can tell, they're quite beautiful!! Also - I will now include DETAILED printing info with where to print, so if you'd like to purchase the CD with your storyboards and collages on it, you'll be able to do so for $175! (AFTER you purchase a package) The reason it is $75 more than the regular CD is because I sell LOTS of storyboards. They are my biggest item that I sell, so for me, they are a money maker, but since I'm now recommending a photo lab that will allow you to print those odd 10x20 sizes and such, I still have to be able to make a little money from that, since each 10x20 sells for $55! So you'll be able print as many as you like from your own CD!!

This was the 2nd Birthday girl this week!! This little one is turning 2!! I just love every session I have with the "L" family!! I have had so many sessions with them over the last year and a half, it's unreal!! "G" was just so happy and camera ready the whole time we took pictures!!
